Law Practice
Zack has been a stand out in the land use area since the start of his legal career. His interest in and dedication to that particularly complex area of law has provided him with a depth of experience that is a benefit to his clients. His practice emphasizes real estate, including land use law and environmental law. Zack is experienced in zoning issues, boundary disputes, property transactions, and all other matters pertaining to real estate law. Zack advises clients on a variety of issues in other areas as well, including personal injury, commercial law and estate planning issues.

Working in tandem with attorney Liam Sherlock to prevail on one of the first cases under the new Transportation Planning Rule to protect nearby farmers from a proposed rock quarry.

Working with neighbors and experts to prevent the development and subdivision of unstable slopes in Eugene’s south hills.

Working with the US Environmental Protection Agency to prevent improper assessment of environmental cleanup costs against a security interest holder on a former mine site.

Background and Interests
Zack enjoys spending time with his wife, two young sons and daughter, and, in quiet moments, is an avid reader. He also enjoys hiking and bicycling.
