One of the founding partners of Hutchinson, Cox, John brings considerable expertise to his active practice in business matters including all aspects of business transactions from set up through dissolution or sale of a business. He focuses on the formation and continuation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He advises clients on copyright and trademark issues, which in today’s world includes computer law matters. John is recognized for his considerable expertise in estate planning matters including guardianships, conservatorships, probates and elder law.
Prior Experience
- Colonel, Retired, U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps with over 30 years of Active and Reserve service. Primary responsibility last 15 years was to serve as liaison between host country and U.S. military commander.
- Deputy District Attorney, Lane County, 1969-1971.
